Emma Andrews, BA, RHN, NPDP

Emma is a Vancouver based Holistic Sports Nutritionist, longevity educator, culinary explorer, and endurance athlete with an endless enthusiasm for life. Emma is also the Co-Founder at The Pineapple Collective, a boutique multi-national agency specializing in education strategy and content marketing for natural health and wellness brands.

Emma educates and empowers athletes – and life enthusiasts – to take a proactive approach towards their wellness and longevity. She believes the kitchen is your playground, and her goal is to inspire others towards a lifetime of health and physical activity.

What’s unique about Emma is she’s intimately aware that time is precious and life can be short. Her motivation stems from the loss of her father, a lifelong athlete, to heart disease at the age of 53. Today she teaches her audiences how to approach longevity from a holistic perspective, integrating dietary and lifestyle recommendations to achieve results.

As an endurance runner herself, Emma knows first hand the importance of nutrition in reaching your goals. She believes you don’t have to sacrifice your long term health, or enjoyment of the present moment in order to achieve your goals.

My Story

I am deeply grateful for this journey we call life. All the highs and lows, the grit and the glamour. I believe our purpose here is to have as many experiences as possible, and to share as much love as possible.

Growing up on a small farm in rural Alberta sparked my appreciation for sustainable agriculture, and local foods. From horse packing trips, to hiking and trail running, I spent a great deal of time outdoors, cultivating a passion for physical activity and curiosity about our natural surroundings.

Fundamentals for an Anything but Average Life

Stemming from the belief that we all have the capacity to live a long and healthy life, “anything but average” is a philosophy that encourages constant improvement, personal growth, and thriving in your day to day life.

Known for her motivating, inspiring and engaging education approach, Emma works with athletes from the everyday to the elite, as well as corporate and community groups.

Emma’s constantly on the hunt for natural foods, quality supplements, and proactive lifestyle habits that support:

Emma is a regular competitor in endurance road and trail racing events around North America, including 200 mile relay events. She’s placed within the Top 3 in her age group for 5km and marathon distances. Emma’s currently working on completing the 6 world marathon majors, including qualifying for the Boston Marathon by 2025.
